In Action

Hey Coug Fans!

Our spring season is in full swing now and we are having a blast! After being off a whole week for spring break a few weeks ago it was time to get back into our school and volleyball routines. We have practices everyday to help us prepare for our spring competition. During this spring season we play in two tournaments and we will have a scrimmage game against Bradley. We also might set up a home event for this spring, so it would be the perfect time to come out and support your favorite Cougar Volleyball Team!

This past weekend we went to ISU for a tournament where we played four games. We played against University of Illinois-Springfield, the ISU Alumni, ISU and Parkland. It was a lot of fun to go and play against big competition and it was also really cool being able to play in Redbird Arena with my team! We played the best two out of three for each game or until the time limit was up. We beat UIS in two sets, we went one and one with the ISU Alumni before the time expired and we took tough loses to ISU and Parkland. All in all we had a fun weekend, full of good experiences that will only make us better! I can’t wait to see what next fall has in store for our team!

We are now officially into the 11th week of school, with only 5 more weeks left until summer break (even though it feels like summer is nowhere to be found). I am really enjoying all of the classes this semester and I already can’t wait for next fall semester to start (mainly because of volleyball)! I am also really excited to say that I was accepted into ICC’s Dental Hygiene Program for next fall as well, so I am very eager to begin that as well.

We can’t wait to see all of you guys again cheering us on next season!

Go Cougs!
